BSCNZ appoints Lillian Small to the newly-created CEO role

With the combination of Marja and Lillian in these strategic roles I am confident we have the best possible team to move forward for the benefit of all of our organisations.

Building Service Contractors New Zealand has appointed Lillian Small to the newly created role of chief executive with the purpose of driving fresh initiatives and implementing strategies.

Small joined BSCNZ in January 2014 from her role as business development manager at Kimberly Clark where she had worked since 2008.

Lillian combines very strong management skills with significant experience in sales and marketing which will be very valuable as we press forward with our strategic plan including implementing a new marketing plan and membership programme, said BSCNZ president Patrick Lee-Lo.

Marja Verkerk the current executive director, has been appointed executive officer of the portfolio of other trade organisations managed by BSCNZ.

Lee-Lo said that Verkerk’s excellent management skills and extensive sector knowledge was vital to her new role overseeing the range of trade organisations managed by BSCNZ –The Carpet Cleaners Association of New Zealand; Chemwash Cleaning Systems Ltd; Industrial Rope Access Association of New Zealand; Pest Management Association of New Zealand; Scaffolding, Access and Rigging New Zealand; Scaffolding Rigging, Industrial Rope Industries Training  and New Zealand Specialist Trade Contractors Federation.
