Barry Kidd the BCAs new CEO grew up connected to the transport industry. His father ran a carrier business and was president of the Wellington Carriers Association for a number of years.

He has a wealth of experience in both private and public enterprise working for the Automobile Association, the Ministry of Transport and for the Treasury. He also set up a consultancy business working in the transport industry.

Barry’s knowledge of the processes and understanding of how government department’s work and how you can influence government policy can only be a positive thing for the BCA.
