CINZ announces new CEO

John Duncan, Chairman of Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sue Sullivan as CEO of CINZ.
Sue brings to the role a strong understanding of the New Zealand Tourism industry with over 20 years experience. Her most recent role was with Tourism Holdings Limited as the General Manager Sales.
Sue has completed a six year term on the board of the Tourism Industry Association (TIANZ) and four years as a New Zealand Backpacker, Youth and Adventure Tourism Association (BYATA) board member.
Sue's industry experience has included sales, marketing and operations both in New Zealand and in Australia in visitor attractions and transport.
She has worked extensively in market and product development in the core traditional markets of Australia, North America, Europe and the UK.
With changing market dynamics, Sue has focused over the last years on South East Asia and China and the considerable opportunities within tourism to the free independent traveller (FIT), and group market. Sue has strong links and networks within the industry both in New Zealand and internationally.
Sue holds an MBA from Massey University. She is married with three teenage children and lives in Auckland.
